The Eucalyptus Baby Blue is native to south eastern Australia and is the loved by koalas. This beautiful plant is very popular in the cut-foliage industry with its pretty green/blue/grey/silver leaves that also smell delicious. The Eucalyptus is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The plant is moderately hardy, meaning it should be protected in severe frosts. When young, the Eucalyptus has round leaves that later become oblong. The Eucalyptus leaf is often used for its aromatic oils. If you want to recreate the ultimate wellness experience at your home, pour some boiling water on a handful of eucalyptus leaves to create your own steam bath. This will help you breathe more freely. It also keeps mosquitoes and flies away, as they don't like the Eucalyptus scent.

The Eucalyptus Baby Blue likes a sunny spot in well-drained soil. If you prune the Eucalyptus regularly, it will remain a small shrub. If not, it can grow into a metre tall tree. Depending on your personal preference, the way you prune your Eucalyptus is very important. If you want to keep it compact, March is the best time to cut it back.
