Care
Japanese Maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period the soil is warm and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese Maples are strong plants but in a windy location, the leaves can be damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a spot in semi-shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, leading to leaf loss and burning.A Japanese Maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very hardy and will sprout again from March with beautiful new leaves.

The plant has a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
