Clematis patens ‘Hagley Hybrid’ belongs to the Patens group. This group of clematis has the largest flowers and blooms twice a year. First around May-June, and the second flowering follows between July and September. The large pink flowers give off a sweet scent. Clematis grows best against a fence or wall and flowers from late spring to early summer. The beautiful flowers attract bees and butterflies, which promotes biodiversity.
