Care
The Calathea is a real shade plant and it is therefore important that it does not get too much light. When the plant gets too much light, the leaf patterns can fade. Because of the tropical origin of the Calathea, it requires high humidity. You can give the plant a little lukewarm water 2-3 times a week, as the potting soil should always be slightly moist. In winter, you can reduce this to once a week. To prevent root rot, it is important that no layer of water forms at the bottom of the pot. Therefore, always feel the soil first with your fingers before watering.
Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 14cm.
