A:It depends on the chemicals and/or particles you breathe. If the filter is dirty, wet or you have increased breathing resistance, replace the filter immediately (we recommend replacing the white cotton filter after each use for the best protection). Note: The filter cotton and filter cartridges cannot be washed.
